Creating educational resources to help well-meaning people be even kinder.
It’s an easy assumption to make, thinking that politeness and kindness are the same. But while politeness and manners are mostly cultural, everyone across all cultures understands kindness. That’s why it’s important to me to create educational resources for people who want to be kind but don’t always know if they’re hitting the mark.

Teasing apart social norms and radical kindness.
We sometimes shy away from the word radical because it seems too extreme. But the word’s origins are actually found in the Latin term for root. And digging deep and building a solid root system—a foundation, if you will—of kindness is something that I get pretty excited about. Radical kindness goes beyond social customs and gets to the heart of what we value as human beings: love, happiness, freedom and justice, just to name a few things. It prioritizes universal truths about human needs and emotions so that we can connect with one another in a positive way even if we come from very different cultures.
